Preschool Registration
-
Registration for our preschool program is limited, and students will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students residing within district boundaries will be given priority over students residing in neighboring school districts.
We offer two preschool program options, full-day and part-day, which are designed for students ages 3-5. Our program works in cooperation with the Special School District of St. Louis County to provide both general education and special education services based on the individual needs of each student. Our learning environments are inclusive and designed to meet Missouri Early Learning Standards.
If you have questions regarding registration, please email bbaudrexl@lindberghschools.ws.
Both options follow a traditional school year. Our full-day preschool program has an optional summer camp that flows seamlessly with the school year. Families who attend year-round do not pay an annual enrollment fee and have two weeks of vacation credit. The daily schedule for full-day preschool is 8:05 a.m.-2:55 p.m., with the option to arrive at 7 and continue after-school child care until 5:30 p.m. Before and after-school child care is provided for families at no additional charge. The daily schedule for part-day preschool is 8:20-11:35 a.m. and 12:10-3:25 p.m. We have a limited number of scholarship opportunities available for preschool. Please contact Cindy Johnson at 314-729-2400, ext. 8348 or cjohnson@lindberghschools.ws for more information.Part-Day Programming:
The daily schedule for part-day preschool is 8:23-11:35 a.m. and 12:10-3:25 p.m.
AM Classes: Our morning classrooms serve children ages 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5 years old in an integrated setting that includes students with varying levels of ability. These classrooms are either taught by general education teachers, special education teachers, or a co-teaching team that includes both experts in the space. Classroom placement is based on availability.
PM Classes: Our afternoon classrooms serve children ages 3-4 and 4-5 years old in an integrated setting with varying levels of ability. These classrooms are taught by special education teachers and a co-teaching team. Due to greater availability in the afternoon, PM classrooms are offered at a 20% discounted rate compared to AM classrooms.
