Terminology

    • Collate - To put in page order 1,2,3,  1,2,3,  1,2,3, etc. 
    • Group - To group each page together 1,1 1,  2,2,2,  3,3,3, etc.
    • Saddle staple - Two staples on the folded spine of a booklet. (Saddle Book) Magazine type.
    • Staple on the side - Two staples on the side of an 8 1/2 X 11 booklet.
    • Staple on top - One staple in the top corner. Tell us what corner if it is not top left.
    • 1 sided to 1 sided - Single sided original and you want single sided copies.
    • 1 sided to 2 sided - Means you have a single sided original and you would like double sided copies.
    • 2 sided to 2 sided - Means you have 2 sided originals and you would like 2 sided copies.
    • 2 sided to 1 sided - Means you have 2 sided originals and would like them single sided.
    • Glue bind - This is for notepads. It is not designed as a form of binding. 
    • Comb binding - comb binders are the plastic binders that are punched and put onto the spine of a booklet.
    • Pages vs sheets - A sheet of paper is one sheet. It has two sides so if it is printed on both sides that's two pages.
