Attendance Office

  • Regular attendance is one of the most important factors contributing to a student’s success in school, and it is strongly recommended that students be present every day in all of their classes. A parent or guardian is expected to inform the school when a student is absent or when an absence from school is anticipated.

Lines with answering machines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Absence from School

  • At Lindbergh High School, students are allowed a maximum of five (5) unexcused absences per semester. On the sixth (6) absence, a student will receive a “NC” (No-credit).

An absence will be considered EXCUSED only if the Attendance Office receives documentation for excusable events. When a parent reports an absence through a phone call or email, it will be marked as VERIFIED but still classified as UNEXCUSED. If the Attendance Office does not receive any communication or a doctor's note, the absence will be marked as UNVERIFIED/UNEXCUSED.

In the event that a student or parent believes that a no-credit decision based on attendance may warrant review, an appeals process is available to ensure a fair and thorough examination of individual circumstances.

If you need to submit a doctor's note for your student, you can do so here, or fax the note to 314-729-2414.
